  1.   Doors

  3.     Doors is a means by which you may run outside programs through
  4.     ^variantname.  Control of the computer is actually handed over
  5.     to the external program, and when it is finished, control is
  6.     returned to ^variantname.
  7.  
  8.     Doors may be activated by the use of the <D> or <.D> command.
  9.     Typing <D> will cause ^nodetitle to list all the doors available
  10.     and then prompt for the entry code of the desired door.  The
  11.     display format is:

  13.    <entrycode>     :  <description>
  14.    <entrycode>     :  <description>
  15.    <entrycode>     :  <description>
  16.  
  17.     Alternatively, you may type '.D entrycode' to bypass the list and
  18.     immediately enter the appropriate door.

  20.     After a slight delay, the external program will be brought online.
  21.     Some doors may spew out a few garbage characters before coming up;
  22.     don't worry unless you lose carrier.

  24.     When you exit the door program, control will be returned back to
  25.     ^nodetitle.
